Price–Fixing, DOJ and Agency Responses

If you’ve been following, here are a couple of interesting blogs on the agency appeal to support the big publishers over readers, writers and indie publishers in the ongoing Department of Justice investigation of price fixing in the traditional book publishing world.

Seems to me in all this transition and legal wrangling, the reader is forgotten. Contrary to what the big guys think or promise their shareholders, the reader is the bottom line.

I urge you to read both, to get a sense of how devastated we Canadians are at the horror show in Ottawa, masquerading as a legal majority government (neither of which it is, but that’s another story), the Progressive Conservatives.

Between omnibus bills and proroguing parliament, Harper and his thugs have spent not just this past year, but the previous years, delaying and disrupting responsible government in spite of the vast majority of Canadians who neither voted for the PCs, nor agree with most of their pro big business, anti-environment policies, not least among other issues.
